IgalMR Films experienced a wonderful Texas welcome this past weekend when we flew out for Julia Bella’s Bat-Mitzvah. A special bag of treats awaited us at the hotel and 3we had the pleasure of filming 4 events: a Challah Bake a Texas Night, a Shabbat Dinner and the main event on Saturday night. The hot pink fashion themed extravaganza incorporated attention even to the tiniest details! It was truly so much fun getting to know this beautiful family and being able to film their special day. When you are hired by a family of artists, the honor is extra special! Mia not only honored her family’s love and dedication to art, but she demonstrated her own talents as well. From the broadway show theme, to Mia’s performances, to the special videos… there was a special surprise sprinkled throughout the night. And the cherry on top was the spectacular ode to Argentina. This was an unforgettable night X family, and Mia deserved every second of it’s celebration!

This time around, I experienced the event from the other side of the lens, as our baby girl became a bat mitzvah. What an emotional rollercoaster it is to reach this milestone as a parent! Having to plan our event in these crazy times forced us to have a very intimate gathering, but reminded us of how meaningful they can be, especially thanks to our incredible family.
